Any feedback on "Bedrug" or "Bedtred"?
I installed the BedTred in November. While I really like the material, I have to say I'm not happy with the fit in the pan of my JKU. The rear cargo area and wheel wells fit well, but there are places under the seats that don't completely cover. For $500, I expect better fit. I'm hoping to take some pictures of the fit and post. I do like how the material wipes clean. Especially dog hair which was my biggest complaint with the stock carpet.
Is it a big annoyance under the seat? Because as long as the parts that come in contact with people have good fitment I think I'll be ok... was watching for money the army owes me so I could buy it, but my impatience is leaving me toward diy bedliner

I had a Bedrug installed in a truck I used to have with a fiberglass top. The Bedrug was Awesome! Fit great, and it took the normal "ridges" out of the floor of the bed and made it super comfy to sleep on when camping.
i've had the bedrug kit in my 2013 4 door since they came out (3 months?) - it's been rained in a couple of times (i have no top and it lives outside). i have the drain plugs out and it works out well. it doesn't dry all that quickly as the rain is trapped underneath, but it dries eventually and doesn't smell or anything. still looks exactly like it did the day i installed it. velcro still attached etc. my fit was pretty good, a few areas where it wasn't quite right that show a little of the metal of the tub but no-one expect me ever notices. most people don't even notice it's not the normal jeep carpet.
overall i am glad i got it and i'd do it again if i got a new jeep.

I'm thinking about the BedRug now and not the BedTred. I was thinking of LineX, but it won't provide the sound deadening that the carpet or BedRug will provide. Sound deadening is more important to me than keeping the dog fur off the carpet which is why I pulled them in the first place. BedTred IMO won't provide the same sound deadening as the BedRug. Any thoughts or issues with the BedRug??
Cannot comment on the BedRug, but I can comment on the sound deadening of BedTred.
I got my 2008 JK Rubicon used and it came without a carpet. It was crazy hot in Summer and when 4wheeling for hours, especially in 4Lo; and freaking cold in Winter, although the heater on the JK does a pretty good job of keeping it warm. Sound wise it was pretty loud, although I never took my hardtop off.
I started by using Truck Bedliner from Rustoleum, but I did not like the result. Especially because after mudding, when trying to clean the floor with a rug, it would get bit and pieces of the rug all over... so I pulled the trigger with a full BedTred and I can tell you it is a huge difference! If you still believe it gets hot inside - I don't! - you can use more aluminium shield to solve the situation. If you can also use sound deadening foam or some similar material, between the aluminium shield and the BedTred to reduce the noise inside the ****pit further.
I believe is one of the best upgrades I ever made on my JK.
