This looks like a dead ringer for the one sold by Aries and a couple of other companys. I think they all get them from the same factory in China. That said, I have seen the Aries ones up close. They are pretty sturdy and well made. The two vertical parts are made of 1/4 inch flat stock and the tubing is decent gauge. The welds are clean and the powder coat looks good. The unit mounts to the frame top and bottom with 1/4 inch thick brackets. It is obviously cosmetic and not functional like an offroad bumper, but I thinkit it would have a good solid feel when mounted.
I haven't put one on a vehicle, so I don't know how much of a PITA getting to all the bolts and nuts would be - but I'm willing to bet it can't be any worse than trying to work under the hood of my son's Mitsu eclipse.

I put this on my jeep for the very reason of deer. I live in a part of nebraska with a pretty high number of deer. Its fairly sturdy. Not heavy at all. PITA to install tho. my only complaints are-
1: the top brackets push back into the grill, i have to little divets where the paint is worn away. the whole assemble has about a 1/4inch of play.
2: when taking my jeep on trails, i lose my approach angle. the bottom brackets stick about 2-3 inches below the frame and tend to hit rocks. hangs me up quite a bit.
If your looking for a cheap way to protect your jeep from deer, this would work fairly decent. If you plan to do any rock crawling though, try looking for something else.
