Default Anyone running 2" backspacing?

Putting on some spyderlock bead locks onto my standard width dynatrac axels today and wondering if I should keep my spidertrax wheel spacers. The spyderlocks have 3.5" of backspacing and the wheel spacers are 1.5". Thinking it will give me a wider wheel base and keep my tires from contacting the coilovers. Any pictures or first hand experience would be much appreciated.

I think that might be a bit overkill and put a lot of unneeded stress on bearings and such (same as if you had wheels with 2" of BS). I'd put the wheels on without the spacers and test it out first. If you do need additional clearance, i'd get some smaller spacers.

3.5" backspacing is plenty on tires up to about 37s with stock axle width.

You wouldn't need 2" net backspacing unless you were running 42s or larger, but if you are running tires that big on stock width axles, backspacing is the least of your problems.

I have a net backspace of 2" .....though I don't have a ton of weight like the spyderlocks and surely the large tires that would go on them. My width and stance is to keep out of the other ruts on the beach- seems to work well for me. Oh yes, I have stock u's and bj's at 87k miles now with this setup.

2" of BS will keep everything pretty well out and away from anything under the jeep

Really? The guy's trying to help another guy out with some information, and trashing on his rig seems appropriate?

I am running 37" Trail Grapplers. I have seen people hit the King Coilovers on full flex with 37's so I didn't know if I should go this route or not.

You should be fine with 3.5".
