Many of us DON'T go offroad or are locked into an urban setting.

I, personally, work 100 hours a week (doesn't looke like it given the number of hours I spend on this forum and live in a denseley populated downtown area. No time to go Jeeping (well, maybe if I let my JK forum addiction go) and I need something more "street."

No offense intended dude, but if I were you, I certainly wouldn't be getting a new Jeep, much less a Rubicon. IF you're not going to take it off road, then why are you getting it in the first place? If you're just getting it to drive around your "prize", then I'm afraid that's no better than driving a Hummer. If you want to waste money, buy the new Charger Super Bee. With all this cursed waiting, even I am tempted to cancel my order and get a Super Bee. Heck, they'll give you your prized 20" wheels for free!!

The little tyke in the photo is my beautiful 18 mo daughter. Even she loved this car, and she has class...

to each his own, at least he is driving a jeep, maybe he likes an SUV convertible, the 4 dr JK will change the scene, who cares. Do what you like, it is your car, you paid allot for it and if you want to pimp it out, go for it, i might not agree, others might not, who cares, thats what america is all about, freedom.

Not to change the subject, actually let do...

Where did you see that Super Bee! That is awesome! I presume that is the SRT8 model? Nice!!

though you'll never see me running 20s for a number of reasons ( price, functionality off road, personal preference) i say do what you like, just make sure you do it right. Bigger meats on a 20 would make it seem more appropriate for a JK, but the right wheel and tire combo is gonna be key... every see those high school kids driving around ancient toyota tercels with spinner chrome hub caps and a huge wing on the trunk. In the mean time the thing still only has like 40 HP and will never need that wing and the spinner hub caps look pathetic... not to say 20" rims is exactly the same scenario but you get the point. Just make sure you do it right and that you don't end up with a look that isn't right for the vehicle. Anyway, as always, Good Luck with whatever you do and post some pics once you do it.

You know she'd be happier in a Jeep I'm kidding with you.

Just for a moment I'd like to insert the word all of us seem to be searching for: Poser. Our friend in Montreal can drive anything he wishes and I'm glad he chose a Jeep but, like you, I wonder why if he doesn't go wheelin'. Some people just like posing. I don't get it because I like working on my rigs and driving in the great outdoors. I'm not a extreme rock crawling type and I take care of my gear but the greatest times we have each year are when friends or family go for a jaunt or camping in the Jeeps. I'm sure some people just don't know what they're missing. There's a lot of Orthodontists that own Lamborghini's they aren't skilled drivers- they're Posers.

I'm with you guys with regards to 20's but to each their own...............

Let's cut the guy some slack..............let's try to keep the forum family like and fun. This is a nice forum to visit and we don't have the basher's that you get on Pirate and JU so if you all can, let's try to keep it peaceful and just offer the guy help, regardless if he goes the opposite direction that you would go.

Now to add to this topic those 20s on that Jeep pictured at least has some nice treads............Toyo MT's. Those tires do give those rims a more aggressive look to keep it rugged looking at least. Here is a list of available tire sizes on the Toyo MT in 20's.

38X13.50R20
38X13.50R20
38x15.50R20
40x15.50R20
33x12.50R20
35x12.50R20
37x13.50R20

All 20" wheels will do is make the ride more uncomfortable. Plus large wheels, means larger tire (what evryone else has already said) and more money. Plus then you reduce the sidewall, thus decreasing capability.

I know I wouldn't go with them.
