i've got a re 2"BB plus pro comp wheels and nitto tera grapler 305/70/17. i would say there is a slight power loss obviously, but nothing to drastic. i have a 6 speed with the 4.10's or whatever they are. probably lost 3mpg or so, nothing for me to complain about. also, 6th gear on the highway is still good for me. i put it in and leave it. still able to accelerate and pass without downshifting. hope this helps.

I have an auto. My mileage dropped about 2mpg, but I don't exactly have a light foot.

JEEP-PILOT, Hey, do you have any pics of your jeep? I also have a RE 2" BB and Nitto Terra Grapplers 305/70/17 ready to go on my jeep once i get it ( 4dr Sahara) I've been looking to see if anyone had this combo of lift and tires so i could get a good idea of what to expect.

I have to admit I'm quite surprised by these responses. Damn, I had convinced myself to be more conservative and just go with 33's but now I'm swinging back to the 34's!

I'm running the 305/70/17 MT's and am very pleased with the looks/ride/results, etc. JMO, it's a great set up. I have the skyjacker 3/4" spacers up front, in addition to the 2.5" Teraflex BB, and have room for 35's.

Well at least someone knows how to use the search button. Or they were that bored that they went through all those posts.
