Default Anyone running a oil pressure gauge on 3.6L?

I've been looking around as I have a switch panel with a round hole for a gauge... but no gauge to put into it. Figured the most suited would be an oil pressure gauge as if that goes, well it can be a bad failure...

On the 3.8L it was as simple as a sandwhich plate, but the 3.6L has a canister filter. Looked around without much success as I read someone drilled some part of the block or pan after taking apart a fair bit to reach this area, but details were sparse.

Anyone get one running?

Oh cool, that would totally work. Thanks guys!

14Sport, did you use the 9' cable? Looks like yours is above the windshield which is where I would be putting mine. Unless it only has just a couple wires that can be spliced to extend.

Well that sux, my aeroforce POS doesn't read oil pressure, tranny temp or a bunch of other things I would want. How do I get it to work?

You have to plug it in to the OBD2 port and go through the different options and select the things you want to see.

Here's a link to the manual. You want to go to Chrysler vehicles platform 5 (Jeep Wrangler). Page 27 for the different sensors that can be monitored.

If you are not getting oil temp, trans temp ect. on your gauge, you may have older firmware and will need to send
it in to have it updated, I believe it is free except for shipping.

Platform 5 is where I screwed up, thanks. I see Trans TMP V6/R8 but it only reads what the last battery volts reads.

Maybe like John_fender says it may need re-flashed.

I don't have oil pressure option. Do I need the analog inputs?
