Yukon's have a mean reputation. You can't go wrong with them. My gears are Motives. Desert Rat, here in AZ, installed them for me and I have no regrets with my decision. My .2 cents is you can't go wrong with gear manufacturers so long as they are installed properly and properly broken in. I purposely had a reputable 4x4 shop install mine, not just because I don't know how to do gear swaps, but because if anything were to bust, it was on them.

Running Yukon 4.56 gears now and have had zero issues. I got a really good deal from 4ws.com on them. They sell so cheap they can't say what brand they are but there yukons.

Yukon 4.88's with Grizzly locker in the rear. No issues

The Grizzly had the best warranty which included $2000 to cover other components in the even of a catastrophic failure.

Manual or Automatic?

I have a manual and would not go to the 5.13's if you are only going to run 35's. 4.88 w/ 35's is right on the edge of driveable. Most of the time I use 2nd instead of 1st.

Mine is an automatic, the guys at two different shops said to run the 5.13. I have 33's now but my next set of tires will be 35's. I'm also looking at installing the Eaton eLocker front and rear (4 pinion) and Ten Factory front shafts.
