Default Anyone tried a programmer from a Dodge or other DC vehicle??

Does anyone have access to a recent year Dodge programmer? This would be like the Edge or Superchips models. I am curious if it will interface with the JK computer system. One for a Grand Cherokee/Commander would be even better... I bet that this will work with some limited functionality. I used to read codes and gather other info from Ford vehicles with my Superchips diesel programmer. Just curious if anyone had given this a try.... Tire calibration might be possible.

If it's older than 07 then no. For smog and ECU control the 07 and up are using the Can standard instead of the OBD2 that was used on later models. From what I gather 07 is ground up so I would bet nothing earlier than 07 will work, even limited.

Yes, the 2007 JK's are the first Wranglers to use the CANBus system. But the JK's are not the first DCX vehicles that do. I know the LX platform uses it (300, Charger, Grand, etc). It was the Programmers for these other models that the OP was referring to.

I think I'd be afraid to try it. I have a Superchips tuner for my '05 Magnum, but I'm not that curious about it. I would have to take out the B&G PCM and put the stock one back, and take it back to stock. Not gonna happen, sorry.
