Default Anyone using a York compressor?

Has anyone mounted a York compressor under the hood yet? I need a 4+ CFM at 90+ PSI compressor to run air tools -- the new Warn VTC looks good (8 CFM at 90 PSI!), but I wouldn't know where to mount it. The Kilby York compressor kit mounts under the hood, so that's nice, and it's rated at 4 CFM at 90 PSI at 1200 RPM. Kilby's installation instructions are not that great though - I was hoping someone had done it before and would have some comments on it... :-)

Thanks,
js.

If you only need air for tires the powerplant is perfect.

That seems to be what most people that want oba are doing. I was going to suggest that. I'd hate to give up my AC to make room or sacrifice any hp/tq.

I know the Kilby kits are usually nice (and $$$!), but what about the others?

I know that Off Road Only has a York kit, and I know that Ron at Wandering Trail has a nice write up on it. It also doesn't require any re-work of the ac lines. I know that at the moment I am planning on going with AiRock, and so this will be the way I go.

I went with the Off Road Only (aka ORO) kit as well. I like the fact that it mounts on the front, out of the way. Now I'm wondering if I can buy Kilby's bracket seperately and use it to mount a second battery. :-D
