Anyone using a York compressor?
I have both.
The powerplant works nice and is a great idea.
I currently added the Kilby On Board Air and LOVE IT !
If you are looking for a real compressor The York is the best, hands down. Fast air ups, I can run air tools easily and I am able to run my lockers off it also.
It also fits in the engine compartment nicely on the drivers side .

I installed the ORO (Off-Road Only) York compressor kit on Thursday. I'm finishing the wiring this week-end, and will plumb the tank in the next week or two. I'm not using the tank from the kit -- too small -- so have to figure out a good mount for the one I have (a slim and long 6 gal. tank -- it'll mount a long the drive shaft). So far the kit looks really good. Unlike the Kilby, it mounts to the front of the engine.

What side of the engine does ORO mount the compressor?
I really like Kilbys it mounts on the drivers side and allows me to run My ADVENTURE Supercharger on the passenger side.

So I was loving this install - right up the point I turned on the compressor and it blew! Yup. The folks at Off-Road Only installed a one way valve the wrong way around. I can't begin to describe how pissed off I am.
Hard to tell from this picture, but there's an arrow on that one-way valve going into the de-oiler -- pointing the wrong way, of course:

Here's a shot of the compressor installed:

And the de-oiler:

I still have to complete the rest of the setup with the manifold, tank, etc. Having the compressor blow one or more gaskets kinda put a downer on the rest of the install. :-)
