ARB mounted under drivers seat. runs the lockers and has a quick disconnect for a hose to air up. It is out of the elements and fits under the seat just fine.

Have the ARB under the hood. about 3 minutes to air up my 35's from 15 psi to 28 psi. Went this way since I plan on getting air lockers anyway.

get the numbers and compare, different compressors have different ratings.

Viair does have a rep on the website if it helps. Send them a PM.

btw, if you decide to go viair, check out this offer

I looked that up. Sounds good, ordered it and will pick it up a will call.

I like the standard 1 year warranty, and the cfms for the price.

Default My Viair Setup

I mounted my Viair constant duty compressor to the rear cross member behind the rear axle. I also mounted a 2 gallon tank to the bottom of the tub above the rear axle. I then made a custom enclosure that contains the guage, pressure switch, power switch and I also added a 12v power outlet. I originally wanted to mount the compressor behind the tail lights but this compressor would not fit. I like having the tank since it gives you an instant 150 psi burst of air plus it keeps the tank under pressure while moving from tire to tire. Let me know if you have any questions.

I was looking at a viair and a q89(dual piston), both around $200, well I went to harbor freight last weekend and I found a compressor on sale for $50, so I bought it, took it home & tried it out. I aired 1 tire down to 14psi, started my stop watch & the air-pump and after 2 min. the tire (35x12.5x17) was up to 32 psi (more than I normally run, 29psi) So I aire3d down all 4 to 15psi .Well I had all 4 back up to 30psi in less than 10 minutes. I think that I spent a little bit of $ and got a very fast compressor?

I dont mean to get off topic, but can an ARB Airlocker be powered by a Warn Powerplant, instead of the under the hood compressor?
