ARB diff cover issue?
After installing a ARB diff cover on my front diff a noise has imerged from my front diff. Sounds like if it was just barely scrapping the inside of the cover as I roll along slowly(6-10mph). No noise during highway speeds. Is this a common problem? What can I do to fix this?
Thanks

, but I'm not sure.
The silicone just keeps the oil from leaking out around the edges - not used for clearance.
Are you sure the noise is new, and coming from inside the pumpkin? Maybe you have some debris stuck up/around in the driveshaft and/or axles?

Could it be this and you are just now noticing it? http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-tsb-re...lange-and-seal. Our 07 had a low speed squeal that I didn't notice for a long time. We never had it fixed and I very rarely hear it anymore.
I read a post a while back were the ARB diff. cover was causing problems with the front locker on Rubi. I don't know if the cover has been corrected. I would not engage my locker until I checked it out.

I went wheeling today and my front locker went nuts.
It didn't want to disengage. It was a b@%$^ to drive on pavement. Had to leave my JK at a friends house nearby. I'm so pissed off because the sales rep at quadratec told me that issue was resolved. I asked like 3 times.
Thanks for the tip
