Default ARB diff cover issue?

After installing a ARB diff cover on my front diff a noise has imerged from my front diff. Sounds like if it was just barely scrapping the inside of the cover as I roll along slowly(6-10mph). No noise during highway speeds. Is this a common problem? What can I do to fix this?

Thanks

Nothing internal should be hitting your new diff cover. Did you remember to add oil? Are you missing any tools or hardware? How did you clean the inside?

I don't think I'm missing anything. I followed the instructions to a T. The only part that needed cleaning according the instructions was the oil residue where the gasket goes. Apparently I didn't apply enough silicone., but I'm not sure.

The silicone just keeps the oil from leaking out around the edges - not used for clearance.

Are you sure the noise is new, and coming from inside the pumpkin? Maybe you have some debris stuck up/around in the driveshaft and/or axles?

Could it be this and you are just now noticing it? http://project-jk.com/jeep-jk-tsb-re...lange-and-seal. Our 07 had a low speed squeal that I didn't notice for a long time. We never had it fixed and I very rarely hear it anymore.

No trouble with my new ARBs. Changed the gears out at the same time.

I read a post a while back were the ARB diff. cover was causing problems with the front locker on Rubi. I don't know if the cover has been corrected. I would not engage my locker until I checked it out.

I've got them front and rear with no problems. Jack up your front end and turn your drivesahft by hand and see what you hear.

Too late I went wheeling today and my front locker went nuts. It didn't want to disengage. It was a b@%$^ to drive on pavement. Had to leave my JK at a friends house nearby. I'm so pissed off because the sales rep at quadratec told me that issue was resolved. I asked like 3 times.

Did that already. Was able to reproduce the noise I'ev been hearing. That is how we know it is the diff and from what happened to me today pretty much confirmed it.
Thanks for the tip
