does anyone know what the relation is between wheel travel and articulation and space between your bumpstops? I have about 1 inch between my bumpstops and I notice that on rough roads my front end bottom outs out. i also notice that stock rubicons have like 4 inches so that seems like a lot more travel. I have a serious front spring sag courtesy of heavy bumper an winch. makes me nervous driving off raod I keep thinking I am gonna bottom too hard and break the front axle? Thoughts Yeah a lift is in the works one with more travel

 

Are you running extended bumpstops?

I had the same problem with my oem coils when I added my new bumper and a lift was my only solution. Adding spacers doesn't help because your coils will just bind up anyway.

 

Umm, could be your heavy bumpers and winch squashing your stock springs down.

 

Had the same problem. Lift fixed it though!

 

my XHD Bumper and Winch dropped it 1" and I did hit the bump stops alot more off road.... My lift, TF 2.5 coil/shock, 4dr kit returned it to stock and added 3"..

wieght will do this... mods for mods.... J.E.E.P..... just empty every pocket...
