I'm sure this what Piginajeep has done. There's an image of his rig in this section under the Poll: 4-6 lift thread.

I have them in the rear. So far so good. I have not put them to any real test yet tough. I did not install them in the front. There I went with the Eaton eLocker. I was going to work on the Jeep Friday, but now I might go lookin to go get stuck.

I have one in the front of mine,I run 37's and live in a snowy/icy area,I was curious about the "limited slip" thing,I think that this locker is awesome! When not engaged, the l/s works very well, when locked it is locked. In the ice,the l/s does nothing weird like many people suggest that may happen. We have had several feet of snow this year and I am here to say that this has been a very good upgrade,I use my JK in the rocks quite often and have had no problems with the ected even with 37's.Time will tell how long it puts up with big tires, but I have put about 10,000 miles on the ected with many trips off-road and way too much snow driving in 4 wheel drive lately with no problems!

DUDE! Thank you, this is what I was looking for.
And with 37"s Wow...on the website they state their locker is only good for 32" tires max, I figured that was probably on the safe side and 33"s or 35"s would probably be just fine, but 37"s and wheeled on rocks! thats great news man. Thanks for the awesome review, really appreciate it, makes me feel so much better that I'm getting this.
Hope it keeps serving you well cousin eddy

How often do you use 4x4 while on the road in the ice and snow?

The last couple of storms that we had left us with several days of icy mornings,I used it in 4 wheel drive many times and even on the freeway driving appx 30-45mph in a really bad storm one night,I typically am not the person that runs in 4wd unless it is really needed for either control (turning etc.) or traction, this winter has provided plenty of need for 4wd!I have used it for unplowed roads, driveways and that sort of thing too.

Well I went to go get stuck on Friday and that originally was not a problem. I tried everything I thought the Jeep would do unlocked then did what I thought I might be able to do. When I could not get over unlocked I locked both up and it was like night and day. I did not to just the front or just the rear sorry, I forgot I was going to post the results here.

I'd go out again next Friday, but now I have to work on the Jeep. Need a new DS inner Axle seal.

There is one JK I know of around here that is running Auburns front and rear. I don't think Sara has had any problems with it, but then again she has only had those axles under it for a few months. RescueX also has one in the front of his and has for over a year. I don't think he has had anything bad to say yet.

I considered ECTED, but after reading about the internals, I decided I'd spend the extra money for ARB's. The ECTEDs are essentially a tight limited slip and are succeptably to wear down eventually. With an ARB, it is either locked or unlocked. As a computer programmer, I prefer digital rather than analog.
