Any issues using air lockers in a very cold climate? Air lines tend to collect moisture which intern can freeze.

I just had lockers installed. I went with the detroit rear. Once I build my front axle I am going with a selectable front for easy trail steering. I did the locker in the back because I am in Fl and NO ICE situations.

You have a d30 front? If you aren't a rock crawling wheels-in-the-air kinda guy, you could do a lot worse than a pair of TrueTracs. I trust the TT a lot more than a full locker in these 30's. (and the price beats the hell out of a selectable plus the new shafts you would probably end up with).

And dynatracs lockers 101

I voted LSD because detroit was not an option. I have seen people have lots of problems with ARBs up here in AK. I have a detroit in the rear and love it. When I get my pro rock 44 front this spring I will get a detroit for that too. Call me crazy cause of the ice and such but I mostly stay in 2wd on the road even in winter. I plan on getting the spyntec hubs as well and suppose it would work if I only lock one side so only that tire spins instead of both. Idk will that screw anything up?

Yes. I wheel with lots of guys that run ARB's and while it's a great locker design, they do sometimes have moisture issues when wheeling in the winter. They also curse a lot about o-rings.
