Auto console in a manual

Auto console in a manual
Is there anyway to get an auto center console to fit in a 6sp. From pictures looks like the only difference is the shifter hole. Possible to just cut the rest of the oval out for 6sp use? Or is there more different between them than that.

Having said that, I'll have an OEM black center console from a 2012 up on the selling block soon...

I guess i am missing something here, is there a difference between the 2 style's besides where the little storage tray is located?
why would you want to swap something that is the same thing? unless your's is broken for some reason and the auto is the only you can find.

I guess i am missing something here, is there a difference between the 2 style's besides where the little storage tray is located? why would you want to swap something that is the same thing? unless your's is broken for some reason and the auto is the only you can find.

I just installed the Tuffy. Beefy. Expensive? Yes, really only worth paying $250-300 but it's the only damn thing out there right now and I want some summertime security!
