What year is your Jeep?

The pic above is the older JK Auto console. Didn't realize they were 1 piece. The newer consoles, which I'm assuming came out in 2011 with the interior makeover, are 2 piece now so mounting points might be different...

You could pop off your cover by the shifter and compare it. Maybe your cover will fit the substructure.

OK I AM ON THE SAME PAGE NOW! YEAH I am with you on the fact the all that appears to be different is the inside of the ring. The outside of the ring seems the same. visually i don't see why you couldn't do the swap with the arm rest. worst case scenario you could cut them in 1/2 and plastic weld the 2 pieces together to make a Frankenconsole lol

Yeah as far as I can see from pictures, just the shifter ring seems to be different. I'm sure something could be done to make it fit lol

I have an '07, yeah I don't think the newer ones would fit and I would want to ruin a good console trying to make it fit
