Default Axle question

Looking for some guidance?
I have an 08 JKU Sahara with a D30 up front. Running 4:88s and 35's with upper C braced. I plan on bracing the axle with a set from Rustys Off-Road. My question is can I run and ARB and a 35 spline axle or would I need to upgrade to a D44? Any guidance would be appreciated.

What do you mean by bracing? 35 spline shafts don't play nice with some inner sleeves. I think the hammer-in sleeves from Nitro may be the only ones you can use with 35spline shafts? If you are talking about outer sleeves or a truss, no issues.

But, if you have the coin for a front 44 or 60 upgrade, the money may be better spent there than continuing to dump money into a d30.

Yes I meant truss the whole Axle. I hadn't planned on sleeving the axle, just running better shaft. Thx for the input..

There have been a lot of comments about the 35 spline shafts being 35spline for only like 6 inches where they go inside the locker, and not a big improvement over regular alloy shafts. 27 spline and using your stock shafts as trail spares could be a better option. But, look for a bit more feedback and price both setups to see what you think.

Though now that I think about it, maybe it was just the d44 version that is used in the rubi housings. Worth checking on anyway.

I don't think there is a 35 spline ARB for a D30.
