Default Axle question wanting to regear

So I was looking over my build sheet the other day because I am looking to regear and I guess a quick question would be is it normal to have a D30 in the front and a D44 in the back? If so any suggestions for regear for a 4door teraflex 3" lifted 35" tire automatic wrangler?

Yes it is normal... Check the other NUMEROUS threads on this subject. Do 5.13 gears.

Yep, Rubi's have 44's front and back. The rest of us are stuck with 30's up front.

The other consideration on gear choice is how hard you wheel it. Some folks here think that 5.13's are too small in D30's, and suggest going with 4.88's max.

Be mindful of your axle, and 5.13's will be fine.

That said, if I had a Rubi front with 35's and an auto, I'd definitely go to 5.38's

I beat my d30 with 5.13's. No problems
