Default Axle Sleeves

I'm looking to buy a set of axle sleeves but have seen many different makers. The only differences I have seen are weld and non-weld. And a few bucks in the price. What else should I know? What's your opinion? Who has ran what?

I have Nitro sleeves and c gussets. You will have to pay extra for weld in's, unless you weld or have friend. It took me 8 hrs to get mine beat in. I hurt for a week!

I'd recommend TeraFlex weld ins. The nitro bang ins is either hit or miss for fitament (3 hours to 9 hours) and you should still weld the ends.

Do u have a rubi. If you do then I recommend not getting sleeves as they aren't really necessary. Install gussets for the outer "C's" and save up for arb lockers so u can run 35 spline chrome moly axle shafts with full circle clips. If you have sleeves you can only put in 30 or 27 spline shafts which will be weaker and have a better chance of breaking.

Yea the weld ins seemed like a better idea and I can weld but is there any difference between the brands, material, or the way they fit? And will I need anything else besides the sleeves, a welder, and a drill?

Nah it's a Sahara. D30 in the front with no lockers. And I am putting gussets on in the next week or so

D44 has it's advantages, but they still have the same weak tubes and C's as the D30. I recommend a truss over sleeves for either one. They offer more bending stregth than increasing tube diameter would do. Also, some aftermarket shafts won't work with sleeves.

I got PureJeep truss and gussets for $130 shipped my 2 cents

The C's are the same for D30 and 44. The link for the truss is for a D44. I got mine from Marcus at River City Offroad, and at the time, he threw in free shipping. PM him on here
