Default Axle swap 1 tons?

Has anyone swapped their 44 and 30 for 1 tons yet? If so what problems did you have and how did you fix it.

I'm thinking about selling my 44 and 30 both with 4.88's and ARB air lockers total of 14k miles on them. And buying 1tons and adding 4.56's they don't need lockers right now but I want to do it with out spending any money. I know I'll have some cutting and welding but I want to know if anyones done it yet?

D60 or 14bolt or something out of a f250 or 350 from the 80's or 90's anything larger than a D44

It can be done, your instrument panel will look like a X-mas tree, ABS, ESP, not sure if the vehicle will shift propperly and the speedo may not work.

If you move forward with the project we have front and rear bracket kits!!

The only way to make the rear work is by having tone rings on the axle.

One option is to buy our rear Rock Jock 60.

The second option is to buy the parts that you'll need to make it all work.

Housing End

Axle Package

Part # CE-1014PJK $549.95 (PAIR)
JK EXTREME DUTY AXLE PACKAGE - 35 SPLINE - INCLUDES, TONE RINGS, SET 80 BEARINGS, BEARING RETAINERS AND STUDS (specify axle lenght)

With the two parts mentioned above you can build your axle and keep the electronics working. You must re-use factory rear brakes.

Awesome, thanks for you help I now have a place to start. Does anyone know what I might be able to get for a rear 44 and a front 30 with superior 4.88's and ARB lockers in both? I don't want to put them up for sale because if this project doesn't price out right I can't do it.
