Yes we do have retainer clips, but they are not the regular "almost full circle" ones, they are more like "half moon" shaped, so they look like they could pop off easily. That's why a few people I know tack weld them on.

by the way, love the slogan!! but what if the fat chick carries a step ladder

So I went to a 5 star dealership in Dawson Creek and they told me that because I have even the lift alone the whole Jeep is out of warranty and I have Zero coverage on anything. So I amsked him what if something like the heater stops working isn't that under warranty and he said no... by modifying the Jeep I have given up my warranty

They're blowing smoke up your ass. That's simply not true or even legal. Go to another dealer.

HMM?
Are the laws different in Canada? I see your from B.C.
If that's the case, that sucks.
I would upgrade to cromoly's and proper U-joints and call it done.

OK so I took my Jeep into the shop to get the drivers side axle seal redone and the drivers side U-Joint replaced... before I took it in I re installed the stock rims and tires and dropped it off. That was enough to keep the axle under warrenty they said with just the lift I loose my warrenty on drive shafts and some steering components as lo0ng as the failure was caused by the lift. as for my u-joint problem it looks as though I will be without my JK for about a week as they have to replace both axle shafts on both sides.. they said the ears on the inner shaft on both sides are bent out just a little and they would have never kept U-Joints in them. So everything is getting replaced under warranty and soon I will have my jeep back without the little driveline vibration it has had since new.

The people who told me my Jeeps warranty was void for haveing a modification done to it were from a 5 star dealership and the dealership that accepted the warranty claim without question is still trying to become 5 star
