Default B-Quiet Ultimate or Dynamat

Anybody actually use this stuff yet on the underside of their hood or inside of their door panels? Does it actually provide additional rigidity and strength to these flimsy metal panels?

To me, $110 for 50 sq ft to do my hood and two doors is a more viable option than a super expensive AEV Hood.

I used the tar-like stuff in my soundbar. No difference, but I haven't changed my amp yet. Once I do, I expect a big difference. :-) Oh, and I also used spray foam to fill the center.
