Default Backordered Kevlars?

Getting ready to put some 35x12.50R17 MTR Kevlars on my Rubi and was told that they're backordered! First the lift kit was backordered and now the tires. WTF? Does anyone know where I can get 5 of them in the Atlanta area or shipped there?

Not sure what the deal is with Goodyear, but I am noticing some long waiting dates on some of there tires.

Try getting 37 mtrs. It will be a long wait. They went into production on the 20 of march then all backorders have to be filled.. Not sure of the 35's though

Try shopping around from different tire dealers. I initially went to the jeep dealer because they said they'd beat any price. But they ended up telling me they were on backorder until october 2010!

I went across the street to Discount Tire and they had them for me the next week. They had to get 4 from Phoenix and 1 from Ohio, so I think they really are in short supply. This was just about 3-4 weeks ago.

They're out there, you just gotta talk to the right people.

As opposed to the 35x12.5x17s look for the 315/70/17s. Basically same size tire, more appropriate load rating, especially if you have some extra weight bolted on, and readily available. On road your inflation rate will be about 8lbs less, heavier construction and about the only caveat is OWL lettering.

This data is about a month old now, but Discount Tire was able to round up 2 sets of 5 in 35x12.5r17 in about 5 days for me. The wait may be worse now, but they seem to have a big network to pull from.
