Usually 4.5 or less. If that is not enough you can get wheel spacers at 1.5"

Take a browse through the FAQ up top in this section:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...74&postcount=3

Q: What back spacing will I need on my wheels in order to clear 12.50 wide tires?
A: I would recommend that you do not exceed 4.75" of back spacing and even at that, you may still have some minor rubbing up front at a full turn. Also, I would recommend that you do not go any less than 3.75" as anything less would cause your tires to stick out very far past the fender flares. Any back spacing within this range should work out great.
Somewhere in the 4-4.5 range should give what you are looking for.

If you do 4" they're going to stick out quite a bit. I would do 4.5" backspacing.

Most everyone says 4.5" but I had 5" on my KMC Enduro's and they were just fine.

I'm not sure I would go with 4" but it's all just a matter of taste at that point.

clever... you are getting the hang of it. I tried to find a word in that same dictionary for you but there was nothing that fit the definition of: Whiney ass crybaby that doesn't know how to use the search function and takes everything personal Oh well, keep it at 4.75 and less and you won't rub on the way to counseling

The SEARCH function on forums typically suck. Sometimes it takes too long to wade through the one million posts that might have the word you want but no pertinent info. to a particular question. It can be a gigantic waste of time, and you definitely know about wasting time (I'm guessing your bosses time). That said, it is anyone's prerogative to ask a question, get and answer and effectively ADD to the SEARCH able knowledge base so the next person to search might find the answer without getting flamed for not using the "Search" function. Hmmm, I think that pretty well sums up the whole idea behind a public forum you tool.
which translates to you are a lazy retard?

[lastword]do a SEARCH for "I AM THE BOSS"

RESULTS: I can do wtf I want at work

stop being a fricken baby already... oh and thanks for helping me with my post count lol[/lastword]
