Default Test fit Cragar 16x8 soft 8's --contacts front caliper

I just did a test on my 08 JK 2 dr. Cragar soft 8's 16x8 w/ 5 in BS and it contacts the front brake caliper. That can't be good. Is grinding the brake caliper a smart thing to do? Sounds to me that you could run into problems down the road.

Default Cragar Soft 8s in 16x8

I called Quadratec the other day and asked the salesperson why they didn't show the Cragar 16x8 Soft 8 in 5x5 with 5" backspacing as a JK fitment. The sales guy told me that they stopped advertising them as a JK fitment because of caliper issues. I bought the ProComp 97 (same exact look) in 16x8 with 4.25" backspacing instead. Unfortunately they cost about $30 more per wheel, but it's the same look and hopefully no clearance issues. I was told these would fit fine.
