Question Backspacing Question ...

Need your help guys, I want to get a tire 315/75-16 35" I am now looking for a rim with the proper Backspacing, what backspacing would I need so the tire stay inside or equal to the fender flartes?

4.5" back space will work just fine

I'm running 4.75" right now and can tell you that it gives me 'just' enough space to clear any rubbing. However, my 12.50 wide tires still stick out past the flares about 2". If you want to go bigger and wider, you will have to accept that your tires will need to stick out past the flares just a bit.

It also depends on the width of the wheel.
