bad smell???

Default bad smell???

i have a 6 speed and i notice when i am trying to like drive up a steep hill or back up a steep hill and im really reving the engine i get this really bad like burning smell...i cant really explain what it smells like...is it the clutch burning?

sounds like it could be your clutch. did the same thing with mine last weekend. smells really bad. it went away after a day or so

Sounds like you need a clutch, or need some more practice working the clutch/picking the right gear for the hill. Not sure on your manual driving history, so don't take offense...

p.s. i have only been driving stick for about a year and dont have too much off road experience with it.
