Default Bad Vibrations/DW

I have had other Jeeps (lifted etc...) in the past with minor vibration but this takes the cake...

I have a 2008 Rubicon that I purchased used at 22,000 miles. I installed a winch and new front bumper so I installed 1-1/2" front spacers to accommodate tires. My tires are 33x12.5x17 Interco TrXuS M/T installed on aftermarket Mamba wheels with 1-1/2" spidertrax spacers.

The jeep now has 32,000 miles and has developed a serious tire wobble issue. This is experienced generally between 30-55 mph and worst at 40-45 mph.

You almost have to stop the vehicle to cease the wobble.

I have tried tire pressures from 25 psi to 40 psi, no visible issue, & rotated various times. Getting frustrated!!!

Help!!!

I know that can be really frustrating. There a lot of different things that can be wrong. Really the best way to check it is to have somebody move the steering wheel while you inspect the different components. Watch this video it is 1 of a 2 part series.

Check your ball joints. I had a similar issue. JK ball joints are notoriously cheap. Heavy duty ones are available.

One more thing to check is your calipers, I had a right front caliper hanging up that spurred it on.
