3" is nice, but then you have to start thinking about axles and breaklines. It's just more to have to deal with for the "low key" wheeler that can't afford to break his rig because it's his only DD......

Agreed!!! with both of you /\ up there !!

hahaha

I am worried that anything over 2.5' is going to be too much for a lease/dd truck. Also I want to get rid of the rake and have her level...

I am soooo psyched hahahaha
I got it last night at about 6pm and it was pouring rain here on LI and I didnt even care hahaha I was going to take her out in some mudd that night but everyone declined my offer hahaha and I didnt want to take her out alone and get stuck on day 1 hahahaha

my jeep is my DD. What is the diff between lifting it 2.5" the cheap way, and 3" the right way? I wish I could afford to go long arm 3" like piginajeep did, cause IMO that is the way to go 35s. I don't understand what you mean by "you have to start thinking about axles and breaklines." The extra little bit of lift will make my axle break? I think any amount of lift and you should look at your brakelines. This is my DD and it drives to and from the trail so breaking a brakeline would suck royally. If you only want a couple inches how about OME lift?

I have to say that I think you are more likely to run into problems by just bolting up 2.5" coils or spacers and shocks, than you would if you installed adj control arms, track arms, extended brake lines, etc. But I like my jeep to track well down the road. Anything worth doing is worth doing right IMHO.
