Default BDS Lift

Is there anyone on here running the 3" BDS lift? I am looking at it at a local shop where they say it will run 37" tires.

They are lieing.

I've "heard" it is an actual 3" of lift vs. the Teraflex slightly more then 3" lift so unless you have flat fenders also it's not gonna clear.

what he said - teraflex lifts run on the high side and their 3" lift is easily more like 4" and their 4" lift is more like most 6" lifts out there.

Not the best angle but..... Before I chopped the fenders....

I run the BDS 3" lift with 35" tires. I am getting ready to swap to their 4" springs because at full flex, I have a little bit of rub on the fenders. The BDS 3" is EXACTLY 3" of lift, whereas other 3" lifts actually give you over that. I would not run 37" tires on it.

BDS 3" will not run 37's maybe with Flat Fenders the Teraflex 3" can, but if you want 37's go with the Tera 4"!

So whats the difference between a 3 inch kit that rubs and one that doesn't rub, bumpstops? A lift will not change the pinch seems (the typical rub spot on jk's) so by saying one rubs and the other doesn't just means that one is missing bump stops, correct?

Unless your cuttin and weldin fender wells there's not much a lift can do to allow more stuffage, unless there is some thing I'm missing here.......
