Default BDS Suspension anyone?

This is a continuation of the Long Arm/ Short Arm post I added earlier today. Just went to Roadrunner Performance on St. Georges Ave in Avenel, NJ. Spoke to the owner being he is heavily into Jeeps and currently has a Unlimited Sahara (exactly like mine) and he is recommending the 4.5" BDS Suspension Kit. Anybody have any knowlege of this kit and good or bad about it? He will most likely be doing the lift for me nomatter which kit I go with.

I believe OK4WD does a lot of BDS lifts on JKs. They are in NJ. Also Krazy House Customs in NJ do lifts on JKs.

I have the 3" on my JK and it rides and wheels great. Also had a 3" on my TJ for years, with no issues at all. Great warranty, good quality

Picked up my 3"BDS from OK4WD and installed it myself. Rides better than stock on the road, and I took it out for some wheeling at RC a couple of weeks ago and had no problems.

The no questions asked waranty was a big seller for me.

Good luck on your build.

I have the 5.5'' BDS and couldn't be happier.

I also love the warranty and have used it once so far. Works just as advertised!

You guys that say you like the ride of it, is it softer than stock, and do you have the gas shocks, or cheaper hydro shocks? and when they do replace something under warranty, how long does it take till you get the new part?

The shocks that come with the BDS lift kits are BDS shocks. Why those of us that say it rides better than stock, is because....it seems to hold the road better...it has a softer feel when hitting bumps and you feel like you have more control.

Shocks make a huge difference in lifts, and there are those few companies out there that sell nice riding shocks with their kits.
