Default Bedlining roller fairlead?

It was suggested that I can spray bedliner on my roller fairlead to help it match my front bumper. Right now it's shiny and sticks out.

Question: Should I spray the rollers themselves? Is the paint strong enough for that? I'm thinking no, but I thought I'd ask.

You're thinking right.

Bedlining the rollers might look great - Until you used the winch the first time. Guess you could just keep a spray can of duraliner with you.

Grab a license plate fairlead bracket thingamajig to cover it?

take the rollers off (if you can i dunno) and paint the rest of it.
Good call!! Hadn't even thought of doing that, it'll be a good use for the can of duraliner I have left from spraying my top. Just a snapring on each side to take it off...

I can take them off with a C-clip tool. (or needle nose pliers if I'm lucky.) I'll have to wait for a good sunny day to do it... and here in Utah, it's still fracking snowing!!!

Use etching primer!!! Give it 3-4 good coats before applying the bedliner spray. This will help give it a good base to adhere to. Keep a can of bedliner spray handy since using the winch will definitely cause the bedliner material to wear off.

If you wheel and use your winch a lot, it'll ALL flake off. If it's a street Jeep, spray away.
