Default Benchmark Designs Evap Skid Works!

So I was wheeling this past weekend and got hung up a few times (I guess I need bigger tires and more lift). I am not sure if I damaged my evap skid when I hit a rock or when I was winched out of being stuck. I am betting it was when I was winched as that is a major bend. Either way it worked and my evap can is undamaged and I could drive the 100 plus miles home. Though I may have to buy a new evap can guard. So two thumbs up Benchmark!

If you want to see how it is supposed to look go to Benchmark Designs website.

Default Nice usage of armor!

I keep putting this upgrade off.....I guess I need to pull the trigger and either relocate the evap can or by the skid. I also keep looking at the benchmark oilpan upgrade, but the horror stories of the companies shipping times have me a little worried about placing an order. Also, I see you are running the Teraflex diff skid too, loved mine when it was on the stock rubi axles. I would look for rocks to drag that thing over

is this skid bolt on or you have to drill into your JK?

Bolt on, using the bolts that currently hold your evap canister in place.

It's a good feeling when you know that a skid has just paid for itself.

I run this skid as well and can attest to the strength it has. It is a heavy piece of steel, and when you install it you will see that it covers the entire evap cooler from damage. Agree on how slow they are, but well worth the investiment.
