I have 3.21's right now. Ain't worth a crap either. Can't use 6th gear on highway.

What is your end tire size goal?

You really only want to do this one time....unless you have buckets of expendable cash laying around
I would like 35's but like I said, thinking about MPG more than looks or pulling. I don't plan on getting extreme with my Jeep as it is my DD. When I do any rock climbing, I will be driving it there and back, so that means no heavy duty crawling....just enough to have some fun with the kids. I get 230 miles in 18.6 gals of gas right now.

Been hearing this a lot about not being able to use 6th gear with 3.21's. I have a 4" lift 35" tires and 3.21's and as long as I'm going 70+ 6th gear is not a problem. Yes I find my self downshifting out of it more for hills but I figure that's normal since the upgrades.

Dude, I can't even keep it 70 mph in 6th. It boggs down bigtime. I haven't used it in over a year. I set my cruise at 70, it drops and can't move, drop it in 5th and roll on. And thats killing my mpg's.

Hmm I'm assuming you used the pro cal or something similar to dial in your new tire size? I have been driving it a lot lately since the instal and my mpg are 17c-19h and I don't drive so by any means. I live in a area where there are decent amount of hills and flat spots so for me getting this kind of mpg I was very surprised and happy.

Yes I did use a ProCal, but speedometer is off. Tried going up and down on the tire size and its stays off. Tried everything to fix it. I think my milleage is all wrong though.

Thought all gears for the JK were made overseas in either India, china or South Korea. I know all the 4.88 and 5.13 by Yukon, Superior and G2 are all made there. The gear sets are basically the same.

Maybe the 4.56 are made somewhere else but I haven't heard about it. So if the OP is asking which brand is best and my above understanding is still true, it doesn't matter. They are all the same.

Did you measure the tire like the instructions say? I ask because when I measured my 35x12.50x17's they only measured to 34.25" tall. I programed that into the computer and verified my speed with 2 different gps's to ensure I got the right calibration. Everything is good with mine.
