Default The Best!

Who makes the best 4.10 or 4.56 gears? I have some Yukon 4.88's not installed, but I will not install them due to fuel milleage. Its my DD. I must add that I have a 2011 JK 6 Speed manual. Just looking for a good brand since Yukon does not make either 4.10 or 4.56. Thanks guys and gals!!!!!!

4.88's are going to be too deep for your 6spd.Either 4.10's or at most 4.56's

Mines a 2012 auto with 35x12.5 nitto trail grapplers, just got them installed last week so I have not done too much driving.
This is my results so far
15-16.5 mpgs
Cruising at 70-75 is much better now as I can use overdrive

Btw as a side note I picked the nitro vs he USA standard that are cheaper because the USA standard are rebranded Yukon gears that are not up to spec

Wow! I wish Yukon made 4.10 or 4.56, but thanks for the info! Won't be buying those!

What gears do you have now? 3.21's or 3.73's? In my opinion going to 4.10's will be a big waste of money. If you don't plan to go bigger then 35's then 4.56's will be ok but if you plan to go bigger then just wait.

A Spicer gear set would be the best. However if you want a ratio that Spicer doesn't offer then you will have to deal with aftermarket parts.

What is your end tire size goal?

You really only want to do this one time....unless you have buckets of expendable cash laying around
