I've got to have mirrors all the time, and Im not happy with any of the solutions so far for visibility and look with and without hard doors or soft doors..

I purchased the R/R kit, and it went on fine, but the main issue I had was when I tried to remove the OEM mirror on the passenger side, it took half a can of WD and 20 minutes to get it off. Then when I got it on the R/R, it had a rattle in the main part of the mirror, and had to put it all back to stock and go down to the dealer and have them warranty the bad mirror assembly. I do not like the limited vision as well on the passenger side.

Trying to determine what mirror is best...you guys are making this hard...I'm torn between a harley mirror and "dantes" set up...wondering how bad vibration is with both?

Default Any Vibration?

[QUOTE=Dante;906185]The base just bolts on with the existing screw. I had to add two washers to the top and bottom of where the mirror mounts to the base. I guess the YJ windshield mounting holes are about 1/4" closer together.

Is there any vibration at highway speeds?

Search is a great tool. It is amazing what can be found when you try

I don't have picture since I only use the mirrors in the summer but I use Olympic 4x4 mirrors that slide right into the door hinges. They are completely adjustable, nice mirror size, and look great. I think they cost about 50 for a pair.
Don't get the RR ones. Chance are you will break your OE mirror trying to get them off. I know I did and so have other people.
