Another option for the door hinge for < $20. These are Harley mirrors

Hi HG97TJ,

That Harley mirror looks sharp ... I will take a look at what they have to offer before ordering the Langes.

Thanks for your input.

I got one off of 2K1TJ in the basement builder's fair last year. Very similar in positioning to the Langes but not quick disconnect and nowhere near as expensive...I want to say around $20. He also has come up with rectangular mirrors and different sets for both sides.

Default Mopar

Installed the MOPAR mirror yesterday. Took the doors off today and it was great. I am looking for a blanking plate as I want to remove the door mount mirror permanently.

Any ideas?

Supposedly if you go to either Lowe's or Home Depot or some other home furnishings/decorating store and look for those circular plates they install on walls to keep door knobs from punching holes in the wall - those are the same size and thickness - just have to paint it to match your JK.

Hey Dante,
I'd seen these online before, I think they also had a set in Black, which is what I was leaning towards. Till now, wasn't sure if the mounting bracket would fit the JKs; now that I know it'll work, I do have one quick question for you:

If you left those mirrors on year round, and didn't have the stock mirrors on the door, do those YJ mirrors get in the way of opening the door? If they work fine with the doors on or off, then I think this is the way I'd like to go - just from a price standpoint [$36.something + shipping for a set vs. $67.something + shipping/side for the Lange ones]. Thanks for your suggestion, pics and input.

I have the rock hard cage on my 2 dr. and the old mirrors from my RoadKing screw right into one of the bolt holes on the cage. works great, looks good.
Sorry, don't have any pictures right now, but will have after this weekend at the MegaMeet.

Does anybody know if the passenger side works for this as well? When I saw it on 4wd it said something about viewing the passenger through the windshield which doesn't really make sense to me. More than anything I am looking for something that will work with my rock doors and give me a passenger side view when I have stuff loaded up in the cargo area.
