Is this the set of Langes people are using?
http://www.quadratec.com/products/13023_300.htm

I only want to get one for my passenger side, and this seems like a good set. Can some one tell me if at that price, its just one mirror and bracket, or if its a set? Also, will they work on both Passenger and Driver side?

on a side note, this is the mirror I just bought the other day, from Jeep... its an additional mirror, not a relocation.

will get it installed when it warms up someday

(stock photo, not my jeep)

I have this same Mopar mirror, and LOVE IT. ITs really great, doesnt vibrate, is large, and when you fold it up/out, from inside the jeep you cant see it at all.

Good, I'm glad to hear it. I've used a $9 one from auto zone this past summer, and its, well, needs replacing
...was at the dealership the other day, getting parts, and that was on display, so I figured what the heck... impulse buy. Glad to hear someone else has it and likes it... cause I was a little worried lately.

The base just bolts on with the existing screw. I had to add two washers to the top and bottom of where the mirror mounts to the base. I guess the YJ windshield mounting holes are about 1/4" closer together.

You can still get these mirrors as long as the YJ's are still around. I don't know if the TJ equivalent would work.

The YJ mirror set I used = http://www.quadratec.com/products/13011_02.htm

I use the Rugged Ridge one only on the drivers side. I have the passenger one sitting in my garage. You dont even notice one is different than the other unless you know what to look for. I think you can see them in my sig on the Bedlined Hinges thread.

Hi Dante,

I am leaning toward your mirror suggestion over the MOPAR mirror.

I like the clean look of yours.

Thanks for posting your choice.
