Default Best tire size

I just picked up a set of 17in rubicon wheels to replace my 16in wheels so i'd like to ask what would be the bigest tire that i could run with out a lift kit or wheel spacers on a 07 wrangler x? I'm not sure on tire brand that i am going to buy but the Duratacs sound like a good bet.

32" or 255's. that's what comes on a rubicon and you will not have any issues with it. you can try to push a 33" or 285 in but, depending on the make of tire, you may find that you will have some minor rubbing at a full turn and a full flex.

Default 265/75r16

My 265/75R16 Fierce Attitude Mud Terrains rubbed my sway bars on stock rims before I added spacers.

Would wheel spacers work when using 17in rubicon wheels when wanting to go with a bigger than a 255 tire?

Default Yea

Yes I now run 265/75/R16 with spider traxx spacers on my stock rims and I have no rubbing. This of course depends how wide we are talking but up to 12.5" or 315 you should be fine with spacers others will chime in now if I am wrong.
