Default Need help with PSC Hydro and RIPP Gen2

Anybody running this combo? Wanted to see if anyone had troubles with the install. My PSC pump and pulley are rubbing against the Supercharger bracket. The stock pump and pulley was fine. The new one from PSC is not just rubbing, it's so tight I can't turn it. Has anyone had this issue and how did you fix it. I'll take a picture tomorrow, but if anyone has any photos to share, it would be appreciated!

Yes - you can space it with a washer and it will clear...

In this picture you can see a silver washer sandwiched between the bracket that mounts to the engine and the spacers between that bracket and the bracket with the blower on it.

THanks RIPP,

I was able to get a hold of 2 others that were running the set up and they sent the pics to me. I was able to address this and get it all installed last night

A few more days to finish axles and a custom exhaust crossmember for the RIPP headers to clear the long arm kit and I'll be able to give the supercharger a go. I'm getting excited!!

Oh, by the way....one of the people that assisted me, gave me the measurement of .15 for the 2 washers combined. That was exactly the perfect width to make it work!!

Yea - sorry about the pics (working mobile) - so limited... that seems about right... We will add the measurement to the instructions as a option...

Thanks Ripp!

Also, I will email in the next couple of days with a few other edits/ideas regarding the instruction set. You can use them if you like. As I was installing, I wrote notes on each page for items that I thought would be helpful, or additional bits of information that would make the install easier/faster/less cursing at points.

The instructions from you guys were very good though. I just made some notes of the things that helped me a bit. Tools and stuff that I used.

I have worked with superchargers and turbos in the past, and I can tell you that the RIPP SC kit looks great! I can't imagine not being thrilled with the performance once I get the rest of the jeep finished. I'll be sure to write up my impressions of it after next weekend when I give it a good test with all of my other mods.

JKProfessor, I would love to see lots of photos posted here in your thread once you have the whole RIPP/PSC set up finished. I think the RIPP S/C is becoming the route I want to take before I decide if taking the $25k(plus) Hemi VVT plunge is an option.

Always room for improvement - thanks for the notes we look forward to seeing them.
