Been running km2s on my 4 dr 35 x 12.5 x 15 for 30k now. No balance issues , good on the highway, very good looking tire, I believe I'll get about 60k on them before their toast.

Complaints: uphill muddy hill climbs have been a bit difficult , but that could be because I don't have lockers. I will probably buy these tires again, good balancing tires = happy driver :)

I have 33" KM2s. Bought them used with 5k on them, I've put 12k on them, still wearing great. I've got some vibration at 55mph, but they're chunked a bit from wheeling so hard in the rocks. Not too noisy, they ride great at 28psi. I've never NEEDED to air down, so I haven't, since I don't have onboard air and I've had absolutely 0 traction problems. Wheeled in 12"of snow with my buddy who has 38.5" APC tires, and could go more places than him solely because I had more traction. Fantastic tires! When I move to 35's, I'm sticking with KM2s!

You're not going to go wrong with either tire. I've run both and been happy. Km2's run pretty small, and MTR's balanced with no issues.

km2's are something like 38 lbs LIGHTER per tire than the GY's IIRC?

I ran 33" KM2s on my TJ, and I found that they wore quickly.

I'm on my second set of 35" MTR w/K on my JK, and no complaints. They wear well, balance every time. I have them rotated/balanced every 5k. I got 60,000 out of the last set.

Wow really 60k? no issues with balancing either? Ive heard the MTRs have huge problems with that but i guess that depends on the set you get lol, hope i dont get a bad 1
