I guess I am just being paranoid. I have had some friends look at them today and they said that they can see the wear but it is not that bad. I think it is just me.

I have KM1s for now, BUT:

Road Conditions are a biggie as well!!! For instance, my tires had a noticeable wear change for the worse while I lived in South Carolina around Charleston for 6 months because all of the roads I drove on needed to be re-paved about ten years ago(even though they were main roads).

However, now that I'm not there, the wear has slowed ALOT due to driving on better roads now.

When I'm not offroad that is.

I got about 35,000 miles out of mine. They are I suppose still useable but they are getting very loud. Make sure you rotate them every oil change (5,000 miles) for the longest life possible.

How are the nosie with these tires? Mostly at highway speeds I'm concerned with? Looking around at 35" tires and these seem to be the best I've heard of so far.

I was on the trail last month with one of the first set made. The owner was testing them for BFG. Over 20000 miles without being rotated (as per Goodrich's instructions) and still over 50% left on them. Mine are great with quite a few less miles on them.

I've put almost 36000 on my stock KM's and they're wearing fine. At 33000, the tread depth was 13/32nds of an inch, and since the tire specs showed the tread depth was 19/32nds new, looks like I've got quite a ways to go before I can upgrade to KM2s!
