I'm still working on my wish list. For those of you that have already done so, what can I expect to pay for 5.13 R&P's plus install? D30 front and D44 rear.

it all depends on where you live, I've seen people paying anywhere from 600-1200 for labor, the gears are 600 from Northridge

Fully agree on the "where you live" statement. Around here I've seen as high as the $1100 mark, but have some friends on the other side of the country that have been able to get it done for around $700.

Granted, even in your area there may be a major difference in prices, so call around if you are serious about it.

I've been doing my homework (the JK will pop my cherry on gears) and plan on taking my time and doing it myself even if it takes a week. The money I save on labor will pay for the lockers.

Actually, I'm not too far from you. 1,000 miles north west I'll check around in Anchorage. I'm guessing at least a G maybe 2

that is a good deal emetal. I payed 550 labor and 600 for 5.13 superiors with install kits from northridge. Then I got pinion bearings at oreilys and gear oil for another 35 or so. 500 miles later I payed about 100 for royal purple and laborfor inspection and oil change. I think there are 3 threads on this exact subject in this section going right now. You may want to look at those also. Oh... you can save 100 bux by getting yukon gears if david still has them for 499 with install kits.

That's not a terrible deal by any means ... parts would be around $600+
It's really not a overly difficult install, but having the gear to do it properly can be expensive. It's more time consuming then anything. So how much is time worth?

that is what I payed. it was like $1190. I payed $599 for gears and install kits (northridge), $550 labor, $40 at O'reileys for pinion bearings, oil, misc.

You can save a hundred bucks over what I did by getting yukon gears instead of superiors.
