Default Big mistake

Back in sept a month after I got my 07jku I went to get m/ts and I wanted to keep my factory 17" moabs. The guy who sold me the tires said that 33" were the biggest I could get so I got them toyo open country m/t well I later learned from this site tht u can get 35's for the factory moabs and they look pretty good. I'm wondering who out there has 35's on the 17 moabs what brand and size and how much per tire. After going wheeling with other jeeps with 35 or even wider 33 did so much better than me and I want some 35's

I bet if all the best drivers decided to hit the Rubicon or Moab on 32" for a week everybody would want 32's because some drivers make it look easy lol. Guys would be saying damn no wonder I was having trouble I have these damn 37's and this trail would be easier on 32's.

It wasn't the tire guys fault. Most 35" tires are recommended for a 8" wide rim. Your factory 17" wheels are only 7" wide. He was just doing his job to keep you safe and within spec. Look at Toyo's website, it'll show you tire specs for each size.

Yea the guy at the shop was just doing his job.... Insurance reasons..... Most shops won't even touch my tires cuz their on aftermarket wheels.... Stupid but when I buy tires I gotta get rubber myself and mount them myself.... Shops do a lot for insurance reasons. Check out toyos Site like mentioned above.
