Default Big mod time......... Need advise!

I will be stepping things up a bit in the near future and could really use some advice/opinions!

I am currently running a Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with shock extensions. Should I build on this or just buy a whole new kit? I'm thinking about going 4".
What are the benefits of long arm vs short arm? And will a bolt on long arm kit hold up as well as a weld on, should I go that route.
A friend of mine is doing a 4" long arm kit from Full Traction. So basically I'm looking at upgrading to a Teraflex 4" short arm or a 4" bolt on long arm. If I go to long arm I would most likely choose a bolt on as I don't weld. Opinions on Full Traction vs. another kit.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure for any long arm kit, cutting the stock control arm mounts off, and welding new one on, is a requirement. Just food for thought. Pretty sure you can't go wrong with any of the long arm kits, they're all pretty badass. If I were upgrading to a long arm, and didn't go with teraflex, I might look at rock krawler, because of the 3 link rear conversion for some extra awesome flex.

There are a few kits including Full Tractions that the long arm mounts are bolt on. You do indeed have to cut out the short arm mounts and drill the frame to bolt on new brackets but welding is not required.

I was just reading BDS' site before I jumped back here. I like what I see. I've seen there 3" kit on a local Rubi. Looked very well built.
