If I'm not there is becuz I can't get off work cuz this won't stop me. I'll just bring extra zip ties and try not to hit anything on that side.

But once I grind that bolt head off how would I get the bolt out cuz idk how to get to that nut clip. If I can just get to that somehow then I won't have to cut that bolt.

my guess is that the nut has broken lose, whether it was welded or j-nut. I would tried to find the nut side of and have a friend hold the top side while you turn the bolt. Just my thouhgts

Here is what I would do at this point. I would take the other 2 body bolts out and then see if you can work the bolt out with all the weight on that one bolt. It is likely the nut clip and you should be able to force or break it out. Make sure you put something down on the ground so you don't scratch up your rails. Sorry.

Well good news I got the bolt free. I feel like an idiot but when I got home took it straight to the garage unbolted the front one and it popped right out. But now I can bolt it back in with no rail but as soon as I try to mount the rail the bolt feels like it won't quite reach the threads on what ever is up there. My driver side went up fine and the front bolt on the pass goes in fine. But like I said in the beginning I bought these homemade so the bolt that I'm having trouble with has a 1/4 in piece of plate welded on the mounting bracket on the rail. None of the other ones have this so I'm thinking I should grind the welds off and pull that lil piece of plate off. What does any one else think?

The one with the plate and what all the other 3 look like.

just weld the rail on. A shop should do it really cheap and wouldn't take to long.
