I am looking to order one and do not know much about them, is it better to get a soild material or a mesh one?? I have a 4 door Which is everyone using

 

I've had the Bestop safari top and it was ok. The fit wasn't the greatest. I replaced with the mopar one and it fits 1000x better. I wish I wouldve spent the extra on the mopar in the first place.

 

This is a common sentiment. Many folks opt for the Bestop because it it
significantly less expensive. But, you'll see lots of complaints about its fit and
flapping in the breeze. You rarely find complaints about the Mopar versions.
There are actually a number of good threads on this subject. It's actually
more complex than just saying, buy the Mopar Sunbonnet. First off, there are
two different versions. Second, depending on whether you have a two door
or four door and which brand top you buy and whether you own the softtop
hardware, there are dozens of options that may or may not offer protection
from rain. And, there are mods to the options that may offer protection when
one isn't commercially available (such as for a four door, or when you don't

To answer your other question, mesh or solid: Some folks buy the mesh, most
buy the solid. I would think mesh is more popular where rain is less of a factor.
