I have the bestop bikini as well. thing sags and flap like crazy. Called them to inquire if that was normal and they said "yep". Asked if they had a fix or made a different design. "nope"

So....I use the bikini to keep the sun off of me, but it sucks on the hwy. I might look into that bow support at Quadratec. Seems the opportunity is perfect for someone to design a bikini style top that has some braces or support to where it will not sag or flap.

Overall I was pretty disappointed with the performance of the bikini top. I will say that people comment on it all the time that they like it.

I bought the smittybilt and am happy with it, my only complaint is it doesn't work with the CRES cargo net. I'm glad I went with the smitty I almost bought the best top.....hope you figure out the issue!

All the posts I'm reading here is exactly why I went with the Spiderweb shade. I had the Smittybilt and I was constantly retightening the Velcro straps because the top would sag. I believe both the Best top and Smittybilt bikini tops fit best with Jeeps that have the soft top door surrounds. If out don't have them, you will be adjusting the top a lot. Especially after you go on the freeway. I put the Spiderweb on once and left it alone. It fits snug and you leave it on under the hardtop or soft top. Never have to mess with it again. If there is a downside with the Spiderweb compared to Smitty or Besttop it would probably be light rain. Due to the mesh design, the Smitty and Best top would be more rain resistant. Its the best 100 dollars I've spent and one of the best mods I have done so far. Here is pics with the hard top on.

Thanks everyone for the comments hopefully I can figure something out to stop the flapping and loose top may change out the straps for something stronger like ratchet straps or something lmao until I get the door surrounds if I go that route.

If you get the door surrounds, you can run it with the doors on for more weather protection.

I really like my Bestop bikini top, but I, too, was concerned
about how tight it fit, so.....I bought grab handles that fasten
with Velcro around the top part of the frame. Positioned them
so I could take the little half inch wide Velcro straps of the
bikini top and pull really tight and fasten to the grab handle
Velcro. Works better than just Bestop fasteners.

So I used ratchet straps on the back instead of the original straps there's no flapping any more at all and doesn't fill with air and droop or need to be retightened so far.
